But what if I told there were 48 of these peaks, and that Tom’s partner is a Miniature Schnauzer named Atticus Finch? AND they are giving all the money away to Angell Memorial Hospital – who prevented Atticus from going blind and helped him fight off cancer…

Dog Heaven in the White Mountains

[From Lena Burgio] When Belinda Phillips bought a 18th century farmhouse and attached barn in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, she renovated it to suit her life’s interests: practicing and teaching yoga, hiking and cross country skiing, gardening, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets in a space large enough to accommodate all of them.



Jamaica Pond (JP, Boston)

The pond itself has an area of about 68 acres, making it the largest body of fresh water in Boston. There is a 1.5 mile path around the pond.



The Boston Common

The starting point of the Freedom Trail. The Boston Common is known to be one of the oldest public parks in the country. The park is almost 50 acres in size. Today, Boston Common is the anchor for the Emerald Necklace, a system of connected parks that winds through many of Boston’s neighborhoods.

Pope John Paul II Park (Dorchester/Quincy)

Peters Park Dog Run (South End)
