Boarding, Daycare, Kennels

The biggest thing to understand about boarding your dog is to make sure they are up on their shots! Things to look for in a day care / kennel – convenient hours, rate per day, connection with vets if there’s a problem, and in some cases video monitoring and transportation/pickup.

I live in the back bay in boston and can’t seem to find a good daycare that will pick up and drop off. Common dog has pick up sites, but won’t come to your home, pet companions in reading gets rave reviews and picks up in cambridge, but not boston. Tall tails, charlestown, but not boston. Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Pam

Great reminder about the shots. When taking a dog to a kennel,it’s so important to make sure that your dog’s shots are current.

If you are anything like us, you would prefer to have your dog in a loving, happy family atmosphere rather than an impersonal kennel. We would love to take care of your beloved dog while you are on vacation.
We have over 15 years experience with animal rescue, dog-sitting, and can provide sterling references from our rescue group, many satisfied clients, our vet. We have received Foster of the Year awards for several years.
While you are on vacation, be assured that your dog will be part of our pack. We will have your dog in our home, and have him/her be a loved member of our family while you are away. Of course, we will be happy to provide updates via phone and/or email. We also can send pictures of your special friend if you wish.
Unless he/she has physical limitations, your dog will get four good walks per day – first thing in the morning, mid-day, late afternoon, and before bed. If the dog has issues like allergies, food issues, medications, etc., we would be happy to address them with you.
Our pack consists of my husband, myself, our big, goofy 6-year-old Lab, and a very sweet mix that we are currently fostering. They are both sweet, loving dogs and enjoy the company of new dogs.
The only requirement is that your dog is socialized and can get along with our sweet animalsOf course, we encourage a meet and greet where you can meet us and view our home.
We hope you give us a try. Our rates are very reasonable!
